This is getting on my last nerve...
We have been working without a contract since September, and last night we set a strike date of January 29. This is, fortunately for seniors especially, after midterms and second marking period grades, but it still will stink if we end up walking. There are two scheduled negotiation sessions before then, so, cross fingers for us, please!

I always secretly hoped for a teacher strike while I was in high school. I'm sure there are some kids who do, but it's cool that you've had so many step up and speak on your behalf.
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt...
The kids made great signs, too, and made the 11:00 news! Also, a closeup on Nancy - she looked FIERCE!
