Ah, things have to get better...
It's finally the end of February...which is a good thing. I'm feeling kind of discouraged, but that often happens this time of year. I know that getting enough sleep would probably help. And I'd also like to see my students get more sleep. My first period seniors have a tough time staying awake - guess I need to be more inspiring.

I don't know-- K. Mapes was about the most inspiring teacher I had, and staying awake during her 1st period class was pretty hard sometimes. I just had too much going on and never enough sleep.
It does feel good to say farewell to February.
Once it gets warm again, I'll do cartwheels. Seriously. I'll learn how to do them and then do them all the time. Until it snows again.
What's with the snow hatred??? You're almost as crotchety as Joel.
Oh, yeah, and now the brilliant people who make the decisions about daylight savings time have proclaimed that we need to start it earlier - just when it was beginning to be light when we are getting ready for school. Now it's back to pitch darkness at 5:45 and still needing headlights at 6:30. I will need that shock device, Daniel, to jump start my first period seniors.
